[not trying to kiss ass or nothin' but i only have rp's saved as Bret Hart... i play him in another fed.]
< The opening match of Halloween Havoc ends and the Camera cuts to Todd Grisham who‘s standing in the locker room of the Hart Foundation. The locker room is full of energy and full of people. The energy is electric as multiple members of the Hart Foundation past and present are around. In one section you have Teddy Hart and the Hart Foundation 2.0 getting him ready for his King of the Graveyard match for the X-Division Title. And on the other side you have Bret Hart who is sitting with his brothers and Jim Neidhart. Todd Grisham is standing with Bret and gang as Todd begins to talk.>[/I]
<Grisham> Ladies and gentlemen I’m standing here with the number 1 contender for the Vendetta World Heavyweight Title, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, Bret last time we saw you were standing victoriously over your opponent tonight, Jeff Jarrett. Let me start off by asking you this, How did you avoid that Acoustic Equalizer from the Chosen One?
<HITMAN> The Chosen One Todd? You’re kidding right? The only thing Jeff Jarrett has been chosen for, was to have his title reign end here tonight when he goes one on one with the Excellence of Execution in a match that I’ve been preparing for his entire life. Now onto you’re question, when you’ve been in the ring as long as I have, when you’ve been wrestling for your entire life, you learn what’s happening around without actually having to see you. As those lights went out, I had a feeling that snake would try to come hit me from behind, so it was all about the timing of my turn around. And from the video I think we can all agree that my timing was perfect. After I had the timing down, it was all about revenge. I’ve been hit with that guitar more times than I should of been, it feels good to finally get some payback for his choice to bring in a weapon like that. See it was that guitar, that ended my tag team title reign with Jimmy boy here. You see, he has tried to get me to retire from the RWL so he wouldn’t have to face me in the ring, by hitting me with that guitar. But every time he tries, he ends up crying and pulling his hair out in the middle of the ring locked in the Sharpshooter.
<Grisham> That’s very true Bret, and tonight that very move could be the difference in the match. The fact that you have been using that match for so long, and that it is one of your signature moves. You made the move famous in the United States, you’ve made the legends tap out using this move, do you think that this match favors you in anyway?
<HITMAN> Favors me, I guess you could say that. But it’s Jeff Jarrett’s own d**n fault Grisham, Jeff Jarrett told everyone in the RWL and anyone who watches the RWL, that he wanted to end my career by breaking my legs with a figure four leg lock. Isn’t it ironic, that Jeff Jarrett went and decided to give me a match I’ve been training for my entire life? I mean an Ultimate Submission Match? Isn’t that what the Dungeon was day in and day out. My father the great Stu Hart would hold us in submissions until he almost broke our bones, you will have to break my bones to get me to submit. I’ve been put in every submission maneuver known to man and it’s been years since I’ve tapped to any of them because of the training I’ve done. So does this match favor me? It does, mainly because you never know where I can pull the Sharpshooter out of. It was 1991 when I blocked Curt Henning’s leg drop and reversed it into the Sharpshooter winning that match by submission, it was 1992 when me and the late great Davey Boy Smith were both on our backs after a thunderous double clothesline, when I slipped the sharpshooter in and won that match, it was 1997 when I even used the turnbuckle to lock in the Sharpshooter. There is a reason they call me the Excellence of Execution, I’m perfect when trying to execute any submission hold I want. I’m flawless when I lock them in, and when I lock one in, especially if it’s the Sharpshooter, I promise you that it will be the end of the title reign and the choke hold over this company that Jeff Jarrett has.
<Grisham> Over these past few months you’ve been feuding with Jeff Jarrett, Bret, you’ve seen him hurt two of your four members of the Hart Foundation for extended periods of time. Now, you especially seemed upset with the injury of the Anvil that he suffered during the World Tag Team Title match at last months Super Show Saturday Night Main Event. But even before that, The Dynasty took out your nephew young D.H. Smith when he was put in a parking lot brawl against the World Heavyweight Champion himself who then had help from the General Manager at the time John Morrison. Wha…
<HITMAN> Todd, stop there, I know where you’re going with this. Does it piss me off that what happened happened, d**n right it does. See wrestling, Todd, wrestling is a family business, a family industry. Look at all the second and third generation superstars on the RWL roster right now. Look at all the sons and daughters who are out in those stands right now, getting to watch this company pass on tradition from parent to child. But see the Hart Family, we take it one step further. We put everything we had into this business, we’re up there with the McMahon’s, the Guerrero’s, the Funk’s we put everything we have in this business, and we are the one’s who put it all together. When it’s a big night for one Hart, it’s a big night for all of us, and when it’s a big night for two Hart’s you know something dangerous could very possibly happen because you have every Hart in the arena somewhere tonight. So yeah, messing with my family was a sure fire way to get my attention Jeff Jarrett, but that’s not the attention you wanted to get let me tell you that right now. See, now you’ve got the entire Hart Clan who will be standing back here tonight, watching this Ultimate Submission match, waiting for me to get my, our retribution. See one thing we know, is that it won’t be enough just to physically injury you. It’ll hurt you a whole lot more when I take the World Heavyweight Championship back home to Canada where it belongs. Jeff Jarrett decided his own fate by taking on the most powerful family in the RWL today, sure the McMahon’s might own the RWL, but four of the top superstars are Hart’s, and us Harts we stick together. Even when you separate us, put us on different shows, look at it now, at the pay per view we come right back together, sharing a locker room, being close knit, and well Jeff Jarrett, there is a strength in numbers and who knows if that might come into play tonight.
<ANVIL>(sticking his head into frame) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Let me tell you one thing Mr. Todd Grisham, The Hart Foundation is in full force tonight, and we are all in the corner of the Hitman. You see Jeff Jarrett decided to come out and question weather I had the back of Bret, weather any of us had the back of Bret, weather we’d just up and drop him for a shot of our own and let me tell you that that is not true at all, see Bret Hart is going to become the best Champion Vendetta has ever seen and that just makes the rest of the Hart Foundation look good. Soon enough we’ll all be wearing the gold. HAHAHAHA! So Jeff Jarrett better watch out, cause you never know when there might be a HART ATTACK! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
<Grisham> That’s true Anvil, Bret, Jeff Jarrett has been talking a lot about how you turned your back on the Hart Foundation, how they would all drop you in a second because every member of the Hart family is selfish and just wants there own piece of the pie.
<HITMAN> Grisham, we just went over how important family is to the Hart’s. Hell, before my match I’ll be pulling for Teddy like he’s my own son out there. He and D.H. both know that if they ever need anything, advice, money, anything that they can come to me or Jim or Keith or Bruce or any of us. But it is also like Jim said, it’s the same way with them, I know one day they all want to be World Champions and I can assure you that each of them will have there day, but after speaking with them, and seeing where they are in there careers, I am confident in saying that they are behind me right now, and they want me to do this not only for myself, but for them as well. The way we are looking at it is once one member of the Hart Foundation can obtain the highest honor in all of the RWL management will finally start to realize that we are the best trained, the best option that they have to carry this company to the top. You can’t even doubt that the Hart Foundation is the most diverse, most entertaining and the future of the RWL.
<Grisham>Bret we heard from Jeff Jarrett earlier today and he had a lot to say including the fact that he was going to lock in your own move the Sharpshooter on you to end the match. What do you have to say to that?
<HITMAN> See that’s what I hope he tries to do, because when someone has been using a move fore as long as I’ve been using the Sharpshooter, you learn tricks about it, little tid bits of information that make you a little more likely to be able to do things while being in it too. See Jeff, there’s isn’t away for someone like you to break the hold, to you the Sharpshooter is unbreakable, but for me, of course I know a way out of my own hold. I mastered it after I got screwed in Montreal, at Survivor Series in 1997, I had people lock me in the hold for hours upon end figuring out multiple ways to reverse it, including a counter that actually locks you in the Sharpshooter Jeff. So try, try to lock me in the Sharpshooter to end the match Jarrett because when that happens the only thing ending is your title reign.
<Grisham> Speaking of that Bret, he also said that you’re going to have to kill him before you can make him tap.
<HITMAN> Todd, I heard the d**n interview, I know what he said, but Jeff Jarrett, you really shouldn’t tempt me like that. There is nothing more I’d like than to get you out of the RWL and out of wrestling for the rest of your life, I would love to rid this company of you once and for all without having to think twice about it. See there is nothing more appealing than never having to deal with you again. See you talked about me outsmarting you, and you’re right, at Vendetta I did outsmart you, but you’re wrong again if you don’t think I’ll be able to do that again. All I do in the ring is think, and I can out think anyone in the ring because I’ve been there so long. See I’m a technician in that ring, I am moves ahead of anyone when we step in the ring with me. That’s what seperates me from the rest of the of the wrestlers you’ve faced here in the RWL Jeff, I’m going to outsmart you, I’m going to play the same game you are but I am going to play it better. I’ve got everything I need to beat you Jeff and I don’t think you understand that I’m The Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Ever Will Be!
<Grisham>Well Bret Thank you for the interview and good luck tonight in your match.
<HITMAN> Anytime Todd.
<The Camera feed cuts to the announce table where you see ‘Good Ol’ JR’ Jim Ross and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler.>
<JR> Wow King, it looks like Bret Hart is ready for this opportunity and I sure as hell wouldn’t bet against the Excellence of Execution in an Ultimate Submission Match.
<KING> Come on JR, Captain Crybaby stands no chance tonight as he’s going up against the King of the Mountain! Jeff Jarrett is going to wipe the floor and finally make that little Crybaby quit and hopefully we’ll never have to see him again.
<JR> King, lets focus on the next match as we have that Slamdown dogfight for the X-Division Title, so lets kick it over to Mike Tenay and Michael Cole.
